Women groups from all the South Eastern states have arrived the Dr Alex Ekwueme square in Awka for the 2018 Anamnbra Mother's summit.
Mother's summit is an annual ritual by the wife of the governor chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano who uses the occasion to empower rural women by presenting to them equipment that would enable them earn a living.
Correspondent Ngozi Obileri reports that this year's event will feature speeches on sustaining women's participation in politics, prospects and challenges .
