Veteran Nollywood Actor Kanayo O. Kanayo (KOK) has declared his intention to run on APGA platform for Federal House of Representatives In 2019 representing Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency of Imo state.
Here is his declaration speech made on the 6th of June, 2018.
Ndi ke'anyi ndewo,
Driven by the zeal to serve and contribute my quota of quality representation to the people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency, I make myself available to you, my people.
My aspiration belongs to all of you and will be accountable to you all.
With an unquestionable character and capacity, I offer effective representation with a voice and a face known to you my people, Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
Make no mistake about it, i have prepared myself spiritually and physically to serve because those who rule over men ought to be just, ruling with the fear of God.
I am not capable of being used neither will I betray the trust you will repose on me to serve you.
Therefore, I pray by the generosity of the people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency and the help of God Almighty that you, my people, will offer me this rare and unique opportunity to be your representative in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly come 2019 under the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance( APGA).
Many people have asked me why APGA?
The answer is simple.
I want to work for APGA to make APGA work for me.
I'm in APGA not to win elections but to ensure that a party that believes in brotherhood is built and sustained in Nigeria.
APGA is not just a party, it's our way of life.
For me, good candidates create formidable political parties.
Over the years we have tasted what other political parties can cook, I think its time we eat from our indigenous pot because the taste is the best.
With utmost and geniue love for our constituency and with a fierce commitment for rapid growth and effective representation not for myself but for my people.
I offer to serve as your REPRESENTATIVE for Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency.
I seek this opportunity to offer our constituency a visionary, purposeful and competent representation at the National Assembly.
