Rowing through China's forest above water

This is one of the best places to cool down in a heat wave. Visitors to the Zhangdu Lake Wetland in Wuhan City, central China’s Hubei Province can cruise through a forest in the water.

The water forest, which has over 10,000 pond cypresses, is one of the most famous sights at the wetland park. Visitors also can see roughly 135 breeds of birds from the Asia Pacific region on their cruise.

Besides for the Yangtze River, the 185-square-meter Zhangdu Lake wetland, a major location for migrating birds, plays a vital role in the ecology system of the city.
