Muslims in the State today joined their counterparts all over the world to celebrate Eid-El filtr.

Speaking to the Abs on the significance of the day, the leader of the Hausa community in Awka, Alhaji Garuba Haruna said that the celebration brings to an end the holy fast of ramadan.

Alhaji Haruna urged Muslims to use the celebration to pray for peace and unity of the country, even as he commended governor Willie Obiano for his humane disposition to them, and prayed God to bless him.
