LEADERS OF NO HOPE IN DISG
LEADERS OF NO HOPE IN DISGUISE
LEADERS OF NO HOPE IN DISGYouths are said to be the young brethren of a given country. They possess both intellectuality and new wisdom of man. Also youth is said to be the pillar and future of any progressive country but in Nigeria today, our government of the day often regard youths as the leaders of tomorrow while giving them neither hope nor a privilege in a governmental seat of powers. In our today’s system of government we are still practicing democracy which is said to be the government of the people by the people and for the people. But I still believe that any form of democracy is worth nothing without the absolute participation by the youths in governance. Then minus youth in a democratic government or state that will be equals to absolute undemocratic government.
For a truth, I could recall vividly of presently, on how our able President Muhamadu Buhari boldly said that Nigeria youths are all lazy, Although, during the 2015 general election this same president was able to won the seat of presidency with almost 70% votes counts on Nigerian Youths precisely but today he have denied youth of all their relentless support on Him during 2015 general elections.
Meanwhile Every day children are born into Nigeria with no hope and even to the extent that 30% of our youths often end up forming a terrorist organization against our smooth governance and this same youths of terror group are at the same time been sponsored by our said retirees in the seat of powers. They manage to win some of the illiterate minded youths among us with their material wealth and mostly such youths have been purposely censored to go against our said western education because this same retirees are mostly found in our country’s Islamic sector, as they remains a source of evil censorship against our western educational system. In Nigeria today, the government of the day have no plan on the Nigeria youths in question and even some of their said endorsement of entrepreneur as part of the youth empowerment program, still, nepotism and favoritism can’t afford this to poor youths like me rather those in charge of the endorsement will selfishly use the scheme to the advantage of their loved ones while leaving the poor youths as I am to wallow about in deserted place.
Moreover; I know some will say that Nigerian youths are not active in politics but I must utilize this very point of mine to prove to the world at larger the reasons behind such scourge, which are to be discussed as follows.
Did you expect the youths to be active in politics when there is already, age limitations in our political systems which is to always draw them backwards instead.
Secondly some of our youths have been doctored with disciplinary measures that they cannot in any manner condole with godfatherism as we know that every Nigerian leaders only attain the height with the help of some godfathers.
Thirdly not every Nigeria youth is financially stable and you know that you can only won the heart of the masses with not only manifestos but also with material things.
Fourthly, in a country where everyone is struggling to survive against all odds, many youths now lost appetite in education and without education one cannot lead the people accordingly.
Finally; I solicit that if truly government of the day really need youths participation in Nigeria political seats, then our 1999 constitution must be amended in order to suite most especially the age limitations in politics.
