New appointed press secretary to Gov Willie Obiano on his second regime

Who's James Eze?? ... the newly appointed Chief Press Secretary to Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra State ... Brief Bio of James Eze James Eze holds a BSc in Mass Communication from Enugu State University of Science and Technology ESUT and an MSc in Public Relations from the University of Nigeria at Nsukka. He started his career as a Senior Correspondent in Thisday Newspapers, Lagos from where he moved over to The Sun Publishing Limited as the pioneer Arts Editor for the Sun of Sunday and subsequently became the News Editor of the Sun on Sunday. He left the Sun for Corporate and Financial Limited (C&F Porter Novelli), a frontline Public Relations Consulting firm where he was the Manager of Media Services. While at Corporate and Financial, he had a direct responsibility for managing the image of MTN in the media. Eze subsequently joined Fidelity Bank Plc as External Communications Manager and put in a solid performance handling both the media and corporate social responsibility functions for the bank. It is to his credit that while with Fidelity, the bank had a robust CSR programme which in collaboration with the famous Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Adichie, organised an International Creative Writing Workshop that won the bank some prestigious CRS Awards. He subsequently moved to the telecoms conglomerate, Airtel Nigeria where he was the Senior Manager Public Relations. He joined the services of Anambra State government as Senior Special Assistant from Airtel and has been a central figure in Governor Obiano’s Media Team to date. Eze is a creative writer and a poet.
