The UPP governorship candidate meets with igwe Achebe of onitsha today at his palace

Today, I went to the palace of His Majesty, Agbogidi, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe - the Obi of Onitsha on the occasion of his 16th Ofala festival; to pay due homage and felicitate with him and the entire Onitsha indigenes as they celebrate the 2017 Ofala festival. Onitsha people are known for their rich culture and tradition and His Royal Majesty embodies the distinction, grace and courage that ndi Igbo are famed for. It is always an honour to visit and sit in the presence of such a distinguished royal father whom I have continued to draw inspiration from; and even in the midst of today's activities, he made out time to engage in a brief, but quality discussion with me.
